As a Senior Indirect Category Supplier Manager at Micron, you will embark on an outstanding chance to lead and innovate within our Indirect Procurement team. This role is pivotal in managing the Facilities Site Services Category for North America, ensuring we maintain top-tier supplier relationships and performance.

Responsibilities:

+ Collaboration—Collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers to craft strategies that ensure a robust and efficient supply chain. Work closely with internal clients and Global Procurement to develop category strategies, projects, and contracts.

+ Sourcing—Find solutions and services for Facilities Site Services and various service offerings. Follow established processes to carry out RFx activities and implement demand management techniques.

+ Strategy—Play a key role in building category strategies to drive savings, value, assurance of supply, quality, and supplier performance within your assigned categories.

+ Negotiation—Lead in identifying and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers. Partner with our Legal team to complete contracts, driving alignment with team members and developing negotiation strategies.

+ Management—Manage Micron’s relationship with key suppliers, holding them accountable, resolving issues, and improving supplier performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or similar roles preferred

+ Proven experience in negotiations with a willingness to engage in critical conversations and advocate for Micron's interests

+ Experience in contract redlining/reviewing, including Service Agreements and Statements of Work

+ Strong problem-solving skills with a diligent approach

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields preferred

+ Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment that requires multitasking with minimal direction

+ Prior semiconductor industry experience
