    The Business Operations Manager ensures that day-to-day operations run efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with organizational goals. This role focuses on coordinating resources, streamlining processes, and ensuring that teams have the tools and support needed to meet commitments and deliver outstanding results for customers. The ideal candidate is a strategic, solutions-oriented leader with exceptional organizational skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly technical environment. This role will report to the Program Manager.

    CACI supports a contract with a large Federal civilian customer to develop, maintain, and modernize business critical Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) systems built on SAP ERP and Salesforce technology. The Business Operations team supports a large team of CACI resources and is focused on contract management, program delivery, and strategic direction. We are looking for an experienced Business Operations Lead who can effectively communicate and interface with CACI and Government teams; support multiple functions including finance, procurement and staffing needs; and is a highly detail-oriented go-getter and problem solver. The desired candidate will be responsible for the efficient and organized execution of supporting business processes for a large team of 170+ personnel. The individual must be able to work independently with little supervision, have the ability to solve complex problems, and the experience with analyzing existing processes and recommending process improvements.

    Responsibilities:

    + Support the program PMO and participate in the planning, developing and monitoring of program priorities and initiatives.

    + Lead the development of the monthly invoice to the Government and assist with producing supporting documentation. Work closely with the Project Finance Analyst (PFA) to review and validate all invoice documentation prior to submission to the Government. Track invoice progress from initiation to payment and lead invoice review meetings with the Government.

    + Work closely with the Government COR to monitor spend and forecasts; develop Estimates at Completion (EACs); participate in financial reviews; advise on funding needs; propose contractual changes for contract modifications; and monitor the financial health of the program.

    + Monitor subcontractor performance and spend; resolve subcontractor staffing issues and manage funding levels to ensure proper level of funding is allocated based on forecasted spend.

    + Manage a team of business operations staff; identify key areas and work goals for staff development to foster new and enhanced skills; and provide oversight to ensure a highly functioning team that understands how their work contributes to the overall business strategy.

    + Track program Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and participate in yearly inventories in furtherance of maintaining an adequate Government Property system.

    + Oversee the development of Travel Authorization Requests (TARs) for submission to the Government COR and ensure details are accurate.

    + Develop Requests to Initiate Purchase (RIPs) for software and other tools required by the Government. Initiate and track Purchase Requisitions in the procurement system; obtain required quotes; and submit compliant documentation for Government review and approval.

    + Coordinate with the Export/Import Control Team to ensure export licenses and/or approvals are processed in timely manner for team members traveling outside the U.S.

    + Create and develop plans for specific process improvement initiatives. Monitor practices and procedures for compliance with corporate and internal program procedures. Identify bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.

    + Work with Bus Ops team members to ensure efficient and effective onboarding and offboarding, including PIV cards required by government customer.

    + Oversee Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) acquisition and other staffing-related tasks; recommend improvements to current processes as needed.

    + Provide input on Program Management Review slides and present staffing and other Bus Ops activities to senior leadership.

    + Deliver weekly and monthly status reports showing progress of project activities; upcoming initiatives; and accomplishments.

    + Track staffing metrics and ensure outcomes are contractually compliant with the contract.

    + Work with hiring managers on the team to ensure timely review and approval of Job Requisitions, and track hiring process to ensure timely role fulfillment.

    + Develop and lead efforts to support employee engagement and morale, including recognition and events.

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5+ years experience working on large programs and/or contracts. Additional years of experience can be substituted for no degree.

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or related discipline.

    + Must be able to obtain a favorable background investigation for a public trust clearance.

    + Experience working in a U.S. Government contracting environment.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

    + Must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot/reprioritize deadlines to ensure accurate and timely deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

    + Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have strong analytical and written communication skills

    + Experience communicating and collaborating with Government customers

    + Must be a U.S. citizen

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Familiarity with project financials for U.S. Government programs.

    Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $82,100-$172,400
