Kimley-Horn’s Survey team in Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO), is looking for a driven **CAD Operator** who wants more than just drafting—someone who’s excited to contribute to high-profile projects, learn from experienced survey professionals, and possibly grow toward certifications like LSI/PLS in their future.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare topographic design surveys and legal descriptions that support a wide range of land development and infrastructure projects.

+ Process and review survey field data for accuracy and completeness—your attention to detail matters.

+ Maintain and organize drawing databases, ensuring top-quality standards and efficiency.

+ Work alongside surveyors, engineers, and other professionals, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of our projects.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).

+ 2+ years of survey CAD experience (Autodesk proficiency preferred).

+ Detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated to grow your career in surveying.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

+ This is an in-person role.

Salary Range

+ $50,000 – $70,000

+ Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
