Sustainment Engineering Intern

**Description:** The Logistics and Sustainment Engineering \(LSE\) team is seeking a college intern to work a 12 week assignment with the execution of Integrated Logistics Support \(ILS\) activities on the M\-TADS/PNVS and LONGBOW FCR contracts during the summer of 2026\. This position will be assigned to an existing domestic or international customer in the execution of various program ILS activities, which could include some or all the following:
\- Studies and business case analyses related to material management, establishing/tracking metrics, supply chain management, inventory & supply support activities, workload planning/tracking, depot repair operations, process improvement\.
\- Developing information system tools using MS Office or other products in support of data collection and analysis\.
\- Coordination with other Program disciplines within an Integrated Product Team environment, to include Production Operations, Global Supply Cain \(GSC\), Finance, Contracts, and Engineering, to support on\-going program operations
\- Preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract\.
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a supply chain management, engineering, or business management degree program\.
• Computer skills \- fluent with Microsoft Office products \(Word, PowerPoint Excel, Access\)
Desired Skills:
• Proficiency using MS Excel and other MS Office applications to analyze data and report findings\.
• Excellent communication skills\.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
