    Key Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Manager of Marketing Analytics, the Senior Analyst will partner with Marketing teams to lead, define, execute, and communicate data analytics initiatives. The Senior Analyst will utilize analytical expertise, strong business intuition, and project management experience in their day-to-day to lead analyses that create sustainable revenue and share growth, efficiencies, and cost savings.

    Execute for Results

    + Responsible for execution of solutions to business problems using data analysis and advanced analytics.

    + Able to independently seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's overall strategy.

    + Proactively resolve roadblocks to keep projects progressing and manage stakeholder expectations on current and future business needs.

    + Able to tell a story using data, create recommendations and communicate complex quantitative concepts in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.

    + Leverage strong strategic and critical thinking, problem-solving skills.

    Project Management

    + Manage multiple projects with team members across Marketing team by understanding and balancing the competing demands for project scope, time, and quality while being accountable for deliverables.

    + Responsible for tracking projects from ideation to completion.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Ownership

    + Create, present, and lead ongoing and ad-hoc project status reports to business stakeholders as well as IT teams.

    + Leverage writing, communication, and presentation skills in communications with stakeholders and team members.

    + Lead presentations to senior audiences as required.

    Partnership

    + Collaborates with Data Science, Data Engineering, and IT teams as appropriate.

    + Partner with business stakeholders to identify key initiatives to innovate and improve business.

    **Note:** This position provides a hybrid work arrangement with in-office requirements 50% of the time in Chicago, IL. This role will travel up to 10% of the time.

    Qualifications

    What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or quantitative field (statistics, engineering, analytics, information systems, aviation management or related field)

    + 3+ years of experience in analytics role (analytics, revenue management, customer loyalty, marketing, pricing, financial analysis, consulting, data engineering or another relevant quantitative field)

    + Proven ability to work with large datasets and reporting or visualization tools

    + Proven ability to work with database interface tools and statistical programming languages such as SQL

    + Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

    + Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

    + Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

    What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

    + Master's degree in Business management, analytics, or quantitative field

    + 2-5 years’ experience in data analytics

    + 1+ year project management experience

    + 1+ year airline experience

    + Proven ability to work with statistical analysis and modeling including linear regression, segmentation, non-linear predictive (e.g. logistic) regression or machine learning

    + Proven skills in statistical tools and programming (R, Python, SAS, or similar)

    + Proven skills in Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, or other visualization tools

    The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00.

     

    The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
