Coldstream Tax & Consulting is seeking an experienced Accountant/Tax Associate to join our growing team in South Lake Union Seattle. If you’re looking to develop your skills and collaborate with a friendly, supportive team, we’d love to connect.

For nearly 50 years, our team has provided a wide range of services to small businesses and individuals. In January, we merged with Coldstream, an employee-owned wealth management firm that offers personalized services to high-net-worth individuals and families. Coldstream was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Bellevue, with additional offices in Seattle, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Portland, Boise, and Kenai, AK.

Our front desk is staffed Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Once you are fully trained and can complete projects independently, you will have the flexibility to work remotely -one day per week during our one busy tax season and eventually two days per week during the off season.

Responsibilities will include:

+ Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

+ Initial drafting and preparing tax returns primarily for business entities, but also for high-net-worth individuals

+ Managing client excise tax compliance

+ Assisting and consulting on client payroll reporting and compliance.

+ Establishing and maintaining client Quickbooks files

Required Experience:

+ 2+ years of accounting, tax, and/or bookkeeping experience

+ A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and the desire to collaborate with a team

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks skills

+ Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple client engagements
