Are you an organized and proactive professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a dedicated Plant Administrator to provide comprehensive support to the Plant Manager and other site leaders across various functions, including Human Resources (HR), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Research & Development (R&D).
What You’ll Do:
+ **Document Preparation:** -Create presentations, memos, and other documents using Microsoft applications to support various departments and initiatives.
+ **Event Coordination:** -Plan and coordinate onsite and offsite meetings and events, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly.
+ **Communication Management:** -Oversee mass communications at the Mount Pleasant site, ensuring clear and effective messaging.
+ **Office Operations:** -Manage the operations of company stores and maintain office supplies, ensuring administrative conference rooms are adequately stocked and scheduled efficiently.
+ **Visitor Management:** -Handle visitor management and scheduling, providing a welcoming experience for guests.
+ **Employee Engagement:** -Lead employee engagement initiatives, activities, and community events to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
+ **Learning Management System:** -Serve as the administrator of the Learning Management System (HSI), organizing and setting up employee training sessions.
+ **Document Organization:** -Maintain and organize files, ensuring proper document retention following the Saint-Gobain record retention procedure.
+ **Process Improvement:** -Identify areas for process improvement, propose solutions, and implement enhancements to streamline operations.
+ **Logistics Support:** -Serve as a backup for the Logistics Coordinator, assisting with logistics-related tasks as needed.
+ **Education:** -High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree relevant to the role is preferred.
+ **Experience:** -2-4 years of administrative experience is required, with a strong understanding of office operations.
+ **Communication Skills:** -Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and documentation.
+ **Interpersonal Skills:** -Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across various functions and levels within the organization.
+ **Analytical Skills:** -Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to identify and implement process improvements.
+ **Technical Proficiency:** -Must be fluent in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) to perform daily tasks efficiently.
+ **Travel Requirements:** -Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.
