Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Mid-Level Materials Management & Transportation Manager (Level L)** to join our dynamic team in **Berkeley, MO.**

Position Responsibilities:

+ Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation

+ Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

+ Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

+ Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

+ Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

**This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ 5+ years’ work experience in relevant career fields such as Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics

+ 3+ years of Management or leadership experience

+ Experience in Boeing material management organization or production control processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

+ 3+ years’ experience as a front-line leader

+ Experience leading a cross-functional team

+ Prior experience with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) on Material Management and Accounting System requirements, with general CAS and FAR regulations

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+5 years' related work experience, Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $130,050 - $160,650
