We are looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator with a background in apparel, footwear, accessories, and other soft goods. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about both bulk distribution to retailers as well as direct-to-consumer order fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Help with managing the execution of all outbound shipments of finished goods and the processing of inbound returns

+ Help the Shipping Manager with the daily functions of the shipping department

+ Assist Shipping Manager with office personnel, forklift drivers, stackers, pickers, and packers

+ Coordinate with the Shipping Manager the staging of customer deliveries for shipment

+ Work with the Shipping Manager to ensure that company SOP’s are followed by all personnel within the warehouse

+ Work closely with the Quality Control department to ensure all procedures are followed and recorded

+ Responsible for cross training of personnel

+ Collaborate with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment

+ Work with the Shipping Manager to evaluate carrier performance and resolving issues with orders and logistics

Skills & Qualifications:

+ Bilingual English & Spanish a big plus

+ Previous apparel or soft good shipping/warehouse experience

+ Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict

+ Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening

+ Great interpersonal skills

+ Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities

+ In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse

+ Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications

+ Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
