    Our client, a leading data center management organization, is seeking a Data Center Chief Engineer to join their team. As a Data Center Chief Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the operational excellence of the data center facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and proactive problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Data Center Chief Engineer

    **Location:** Sandy, UT

    **Pay Range:** $45/hr. - $55/hr.

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead and oversee the daily operations of the data center engineering team, ensuring safety and efficiency.

    + Inspect physical conditions of data centers and equipment regularly, preparing work orders and requisitions as needed.

    + Implement safety protocols, coordinate emergency procedures, and conduct fire drills to maintain a secure environment.

    + Collaborate with contractors and design engineers to incorporate energy management and automation systems.

    + Maintain accurate records of equipment readings, test procedures, and operational occurrences to optimize performance.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School diploma or GED equivalent.

    + DATA CENTER EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

    + Five to seven years of experience in data center engineering or a related field.

    + Three to five years of supervisory experience or as a Lead Engineer.

    + Thorough knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, automation, and fire protection systems specific to data centers.

    + Ability to interpret technical documents, safety rules, and governmental regulations effectively.
