Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Press Brake Operator

**Location:** Harahan, LA

Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour

Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

+ Set up and operate press brake machines to process sheet metal parts according to engineering drawings and work instructions

+ Select appropriate tooling and dies based on material type and thickness

+ Interpret blueprints, bend allowances, and bend sequencing to ensure accurate fabrication

+ Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while accurately recording production data and labor transactions

What's Needed?

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum 2+ years of experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing environment

+ Proficient in reading and interpreting sheet metal drawings and blueprints

+ Fluent in written and spoken English

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
