    Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Human Resource Specialist to join their team. As a Human Resource Specialist, you will be part of the HR department supporting the entire organization. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Human Resource Specialist

    **Location:** Laurel, MD

    **Pay Range:** $24.00

    **Shift:** Monday to Friday 8 am - 4 pm, but flexibility is needed

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Ensure compliance with all State and Federal employment laws and regulations

    + Investigate concerns related to working conditions, disciplinary actions, and appeals from associates and applicants

    + Advise department leaders and staff on resolving HR-related issues by offering guidance and recommendations

    + Oversee the performance management process, assisting leadership with reviews, coaching, training, and consultation

    + Manage recruiting efforts to hire competent, diverse, and skilled associates while minimizing turnover

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

    + 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, with supervisory experience preferred

    + Solid knowledge of HR laws and regulations

    + Experience in recruiting and staffing

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
