    Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in Gadsden, AL, is seeking a dedicated Saw Operator to join their team. As a Saw Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety, which will enable you to thrive within this dynamic environment.

     

    **Job Title:** Saw Operator

    **Location:** Gadsden, AL

     

    Pay Range: $13.00 - $15.00/hr.

     

    Shift: 1st

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate various saws to cut materials according to detailed specifications.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements.

    + Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including changing blades for different materials.

    + Conduct quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet industry standards.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.

    + Strong mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting skills.

    + Ability to read tape measures and use squares accurately.

    + Capability to drive a forklift and unload trucks as needed.

    + Basic welding skills for minor stock assembly when cutting multiple pieces.
