This role will be supporting our Norwell and South Dennis, MA Locations!
Job Summary: In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Lead Provider helps to shape the organization through working collaboratively with new and existing providers through providing training, mentorship, coaching and developmental opportunities to support our urgent care business. Additionally, this role fosters our partnerships/affiliations with local hospitals as applicable.
Duties and Responsibilities: Lead Provider - tasks include but are not limited to:
+ Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Regional Manager to:
+ Establish and maintain local center needs
+ Along with the Regional Medical Director, disseminate all clinical protocols and training modules to providers from Director of Clinical Operations and CMO
+ Assist in addressing provider questions and concerns as they relate to clinical matters and bring them to the appropriate partners (i.e., Clinical Director, HR)
+ Conduct weekly meetings and charting audits with the Regional Medical Director
+ Assist with recruitment and interview process of providers for partnering centers/region.
+ Coordinate Training of new provider
+ Perform 4-hour training session with new provider in a center
+ Review Provider Onboarding Checklist
+ Introduce CareWell/ ClearChoiceMD culture to new provider
+ Coordinate future trainings in center for provider
+ Perform 30/60/90-day check ins with the new Provider as outlined by the Mentorship Program
+ Optimize the overall financial performance of the center consistent with:
+ Obtaining and maintaining the highest level of patient satisfaction in the center
+ Staff retention and overall provider job satisfaction
+ Increased patient volume
+ Assuring timely charting completeness within the center
+ Assisting the Practice Manager in reviewing patient complaints as they pertain to clinical concerns
+ Maintains confidentiality of all patient and employee information to all except the other designated employees.
+ Responsible for representing their center/region in clinical meetings with the partnering hospitals’ practices
+ Attend scheduled ClearChoiceMD/Carewell Urgent Care Provider meetings to disseminate information to the other providers in the center/region
+ Exemplify the CareWell/ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care mission, vision and values and act in accordance with the Policy & Procedures and Guidelines of Carewell/ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care including their partnering hospitals.
+ Facilitate Annual Reviews in the center/region of providers which includes chart review/chart auditing

+ Able to multi-task while obtaining a high level of confidentiality
+ Must uphold a high level of professionalism as well as customer service
+ Strong organization and time management skills are required
Education & Experience:
+ Medical Provider (MD, DO, PA-C, APRN)
+ Proven experience in leadership and or administrative role
Compensation Structure:
+ Base Pay
+ Center Support Stipend
+ Key Performance Indicators / Bonus plan
+ RVU structure
Supervisory Responsibility: Midlevel providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) report to this position. The Lead Provider r eports to the Regional Medical Director.
Work Environment: This job operates in a medical office setting and includes possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medical preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Exempt (24 hours clinically and 12+ administratively)
Travel: I ntermittent center visits within assigned region of lead provider role.
