Kratos has an exciting opportunity for a Program Director with the following responsibilities:

     

    + Provide leadership to achieve Technical, Financial, contractual, management, and customer relations objectives of the project, program, and business

    + Develop and maintain communications, consistent across programs, for use by executive management and the enterprise

    + Ensure timely and compliant communications and submission to the customer

    + Develop and maintain current, accurate, and complete program schedules, financial projections, forward looking staffing profiles, and risk/opportunity status

    + Conduct recurring and adhoc program analysis/assessments including technical, financial, and schedule performance for development, production, and integration of products and services

    + Make and support decisions to achieve business objectives using outcome of collaborative analysis/assessments of technical, schedule, financial, and customer relations.

    + Owns all deliverables IAW approved plans to meet contractual requirements on time and within approved budgets.

    + Lead for program reviews with executive management and the integrated product team

    Required Experience:

    + Must have working knowledge of Department of Defense Acquisition Framework and associated design milestones.

    + Must have working knowledge of Earned Value Management.

    + Must be adept in Microsoft Office Suite including working knowledge of MS Project.

    + Experienced with risk and opportunity identification, mitigation, execution, and management

    + Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

    + In support of the Kratos Training Solutions culture, must interact effectively and productively with direct reports, peers, and all levels of management through the Division President and/or CEO

    + Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary

    + Ability to adhere to workplace rules

    + Ability to travel domestically and internationally when needed.

    + Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

    + Office environment

    + Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

    + Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)

    + Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

    + To work at this facility, you must be a US person

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    + Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or ability to obtain a PMP within one year of hire.

    + Certification or demonstrated expertise in Earned Value Management System (EVMS), per ANSI/EIA 748

    + 14 Years minimum experience or a combination of education and job- related experience as a Program Manager and/or managing prime and/or subcontractor teams

    + BA/BS Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Engineering Management
