    Responsibilities

    Supervises and coordinates activities of the MCHS MN Echocardiology Labs, MCHS MN EKG oversight, and cardiology staff as appropriate. Ensures timely performance and quality of technical support staff. Provides effective leadership for the daily management of the labs, supply and equipment oversight, including CV outreach activities. Develops, maintains, and improves service to patients and their families, physicians and other internal customers. Recruits, selects, guides, develops, disciplines, and maintains a staff that will advance the department's goals and objectives. Must foster and promote continuous improvement in self and others and display ability to work through and create change. Must possess the ability to problem solve while dealing with a diverse set of systems and individuals. Must be able to maintain effective and efficient workflow through the labs, holding area and inpatient units. Must be adept at developing and motivating staff to their highest potential, using strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes teamwork, caring and respect, and which reflects Mayo's mission and philosophy.

     

    *This position will require travel within Mayo Clinic Health Systems up to 20% of the time.

    Qualifications

    Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with 3 years health related/clinical experience.

     

    Must have demonstrated leadership, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task and work independently. Master’s degree preferred.

    Licensure or Certification:

    Basic Life Support certification is preferred.

    Compensation Detail

     

    $91,561.60 - $137,384.00 / year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
