    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Services Supervisor to join our vital team. The Environmental Services Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for directly overseeing, training, and guiding a team of Environmental Services Technicians to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, infection control, and operational efficiency throughout the hospital.     + Directly supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate Environmental Services Associates on assigned shifts.

    + Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.

    + Inspect and monitor assigned areas (patient rooms, operating rooms, clinic spaces, waiting areas, offices, restrooms, etc.) to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to established standards and protocols.

    + Verify proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and infection control techniques (e.g., proper PPE, isolation room cleaning).

    + Enforce all hospital safety policies, including universal precautions, proper body mechanics, and chemical handling.

    Job Requirements

    + High School diploma or equivalent required.

    + 3 Years in Environmental Services required.

    + 1 Year of supervisory level experience in supervising staff preferred

    + Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) certification preferred.

    + Fire Safety card. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)

    Pay Range

    $36.00 - $43.62 /hour
