Transform the everyday with us
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our production team at our Heber Springs, AR facility.
Role Responsibilities:
+ Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods to achieve improved quality, product cost, and manufacturing efficiency.
+ Implement knowledge of design, materials/components, fabrication, welding, and paint process, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality standards.
+ Research, design, develop and maintain product fixtures and machine tools, processes, and shop layout.
+ Lead sustaining engineering projects such as driving and sustaining Bills of Materials, processing routings and modifications, building and maintaining visual work instructions, help in developing training checklists, etc.
+ Handle projects from concept, design; capital appropriation requests; and qualification within project schedules and budgets.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 2 years related experience in a machining/manufacturing environment and CNC machining including trouble shooting, generating new programs, modifying existing programs, developing or helping to develop PM programs etc.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
+ SAP software
+ Proficient with AutoCAD, Solidworks, and/or similar software, Microsoft Office and ability to interpret technical drawing specifications
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5 + years' of validated experience in a machining/manufacturing environment
+ Knowledge of problem-solving fundamentals.
+ Knowledgeable on automated processes, robotics, PLC controls and programming
+ Plant network systems experience
+ Knowledge and application of LEAN Manufacturing techniques
