Position Summary
The Global Medical Neuroscience Strategy & Operations team is seeking a motivated and collaborative candidate to join the team for the summer. The intern will play a supportive role in ensuring efficient operations, strategic execution & alignment, and effective knowledge exchange within the Global Medical Neuroscience organization. Additionally, the role requires providing support and project management for the organization, driving key projects to successful completion. This person should excel in balancing competing priorities and deadlines, ensuring that all projects move forward smoothly and are executed and completed on time, and within budget. The intern will need to be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional and will exemplify the drive to work with both internal and external partners to define and implement effective project management solutions. This role reports into the Associate Director, Project Manager, Global Medical Neuroscience Strategy & Operations.
This internship is from June 1-August 7, 2026.
This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.
The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is up to $52/hr. Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS). Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job. Compensation details are subject to change.
Key Responsibilities
+ Support planning and execution of the organization's operations, including effective meeting management, project management, and budget support for the Neuroscience area of responsibility
+ Support working groups, workstream and initiatives with deliverables and other requirements
+ Ensure organized and up-to-date records for easy access and retrieval. Support building and maintaining SharePoint (SP) sites and other relevant collaboration space
+ Partner with finance PM to assist with budgets
+ Build relationships with key stakeholders to support strategic alignment on key Medical objectives
+ Support distribution list management (adding/removing members, setting permissions)
+ Support vendor management (new vendor set up and onboarding, submission of project briefs for external consultant engagement
+ Coordinate with the Congress Management and Events and Meetings Center of Excellence (EMCoE) teams
+ Perform other regular activities to support team operations and objectives
Qualifications & Experience
+ Currently pursuing a PharmD or Business degree (graduating Fall 2026 and beyond), with interest in science and / or pharmaceuticals
+ All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required
+ Able to drive decisions and outcomes
+ Time and priority management - strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail are required
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite
+ Ability to work independently and effectively and enjoys the challenge of working in a complex environment

Compensation Overview:
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
