    Our partner creates, produces, and distributes a versatile range of cosmetic products globally. Their team is in search for a **Lab Technician** to support their innovative processes across their different product lines!

     

    **Title:** Cosmetic Lab Technician

    **Department:** Analytical

    **Location:** Los Angeles California 90045

    **Pay:** $25/hr

     

    Contract: 6 month contract to hire

    Job Summary:

    The Lab Technician conducts physical testing of samples, including water content, water activity, melting point, viscosity, pH, specific gravity, and density. They also coordinate stability studies and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform physical tests on in-process, bulk, stability, and finished product samples.

    + Coordinate stability studies with a Chemist.

    + Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.

    + Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions.

    + Maintain documentation and retain samples.

    + Follow lab safety protocols and dispose of hazardous waste properly.

    + Keep work areas organized and clean.

    + Perform additional tasks as needed to meet company goals.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or associate degree.

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cosmetic laboratory.

    + Experience with physical testing (e.g., pH, viscosity, specific gravity).

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    + Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

    + Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
