    Our client is seeking a motivated **Laboratory Technician** to join their dynamic quality and product development team. This role offers the chance to work hands-on in a fast-paced laboratory environment, supporting testing and analysis for innovative cosmetic products. If you enjoy precision, problem-solving, and contributing to high-quality formulations, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills and career.

     

    **Pay** : Up to $25/hr

    **Shift** : 6:30-3:00pm

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform physical testing on in-process, bulk, stability, and finished product samples, including water content (KF titrator), water activity, melting point, viscosity, pH, specific gravity, and density.

    + Coordinate stability studies in collaboration with Chemists.

    + Follow GMP and all regulatory requirements, including FDA standards.

    + Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and prepare volumetric solutions as needed.

    + Maintain accurate documentation and retain reference samples per company policies.

    + Uphold lab safety standards and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste.

    + Keep workstations organized and equipment clean to support efficient workflow.

    + Perform additional duties as needed to achieve departmental goals.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or associate degree required.

    + Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience, ideally in cosmetics or a related industry.

    + Hands-on experience with physical testing methods such as pH, viscosity, and specific gravity.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willing to learn proprietary data systems.

    + Ability to perform algebraic calculations and interpret scientific data accurately.
