    Role Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to design, configure, and implement secure cloud and on-premises solutions that meet CMMC control requirements. This role focuses on assessing IT environments, applying secure configurations, and supporting audit readiness through technical validation and documentation.

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assess and remediate cloud and on-premises IT environments to align with CMMC security controls and NIST SP 800-171 requirements.

    + Design and implement secure configurations for networks, endpoints, servers, and applications.

    + Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for access control, logging, monitoring, and incident response.

    + Support evidence gathering and technical validation for internal and external audits.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are compliant, hardened, and properly documented.

    + Configure and manage Azure security services, including WAF, Shield, Security Hub, Macie, GuardDuty, KMS, and Secrets Manager.

    + Participate in vulnerability management and remediation efforts using tools such as Nessus or similar.

    + Stay current with evolving CMMC, DoD, and cybersecurity regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

    + CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security, or equivalent.

    + Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.

    + Strong documentation and communication skills to support audit readiness and cross-team collaboration.

     

    Required Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 5+ years of experience in system security, cloud architecture, and infrastructure engineering.

    + Strong working knowledge of Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.

    + Knowledge of Microsoft D365

    + Experience with secure enclave design and implementation, particularly in Microsoft GCC High or similar environments.

    + Familiarity with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and DFARS compliance frameworks.
