**Job Title:** Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Acute Care
**Location:** Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital – Tullahoma, TN
**Schedule:** 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), flexible coverage for PTO, schedule provided at least 2 weeks in advance. Weekend staffing needs are higher.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Administer and direct appropriate physical therapy interventions as prescribed by a physician and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.
+ Deliver high-quality care to patients with acute medical conditions.
+ Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
+ Uphold professional conduct aligned with the APTA Code of Ethics and Vanderbilt Health’s values.
Qualifications:
+ Active Tennessee PTA license required.
+ Experience in acute care or hospital-based physical therapy preferred.
+ Strong communication and documentation skills.
+ Ability to adapt to changing schedules and weekend staffing needs.
