ROLE SUMMARY
You will serve as a legal advisor and counselor to corporate and divisional People Experience (PX) professionals, and business leaders, providing expert guidance on a variety of federal and state employment law issues in the US.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provide PX and business leaders advice and counsel on employment laws, regulations, Company policies and best practices impacting all phases of employment.
+ Review, draft, and revise Company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
+ Manage employment litigation with support from outside counsel, including attorney demand letters, administrative charges, complaints, and arbitration. • Provide strategic counsel, risk mitigation, and guidance on investigations, disciplinary matters, terminations and other sensitive workplace issues.
+ Draft, review and update employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents.
+ Develop and conduct employment law and policy related training for PX, management, and colleagues.
+ Stay current on changes to employment laws and regulations and inform the necessary parties of any changes that could impact the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
+ JD and admitted member of the bar in New York, or a U.S. state with reciprocity with New York.
+ 7+ years' experience practicing employment law (in-house and/or law firm). • Strong analytical and communication skills.
+ Excellent business judgment with the ability to balance legal risk with business goals.
+ Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with multiple internal stakeholders.
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
+ Artificial Intelligence legal knowledge and interest
+ Pharmaceutical industry experience
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
+ Occasional travel required

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204,700.00 to $341,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
