This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Anaheim, CA, from **January 2026 to June 2026.**
What You Will Do
As an integral part of this organization, the Art Studio/Services and Scenic Fabrication Team are responsible for designing and implementing the art direction and scenic elements of all live show Entertainment offerings in our domestic parks as well as special event sites globally.
On any given day, you might:
+ Work with Clients and Designer's conceptual art, sketches, scopes, and write-ups to develop detailed scope of work, budgets, and timeline by consulting with the Scenic Fabrication shop Leads and/or the Senior Materials & Process Designer
+ Help Clients identify appropriate existing warehouse assets for their projects and determine any rehab or modifications those assets may need
+ Submit project estimates, deliverables and timeline to gain client approval
+ Work with the various shops to update scope of work and production timelines
+ Follow project through entire construction or asset pulling process, keeping client updated on status, deliverable dates and any changes to scope
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ Proven ability to interface with clients to understand their creative intent and address action items, take direction, meet deadlines, and complete tasks in a timely manner
+ Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver quality, timely work, within tight deadlines
+ Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook
+ Proven ability in the use of collaboration tools and file-sharing programs with the willingness to learn new applications
+ Demonstrated problem-solving and ability to identify areas for continuous process improvement
+ Trusted and respected team member that guides with integrity with the ability to handle/manage confidential information with discretion
+ Self-starter who takes initiative to assess needs proactively and provide resourceful solutions
+ Proven ability to provide excellent service to Cast, Guests, Clients, and Partners
Education
+ Junior year or beyond
+ Major or previous coursework in Technical Theater, Scenic Fabrication, Theatrical Production, or a related field of study
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:
+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
+ Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Possess unrestricted work authorization

+ The dates of this six-month commitment in Anaheim, CA, are **January 2026 to June 2026**
+ Possess a valid US driver’s license and have the ability to operate a company vehicle
+ Available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship, including overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
+ Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Anaheim, CA area, and have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in Anaheim, CA is $20.42 per hour.
