• Antenna System Engineer

    Summary:

    Meta Reality Labs is looking for an Antenna System Engineer to join our Wireless Antenna team focused on AR/MR products. This role is responsible for developing antenna systems through automation frameworks, tool development, and process improvement.

    Required Skills:

    Antenna System Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Create and implement new tools and solutions to automate the antenna system development process, including simulation, validation, and comprehensive data analysis of testing workflows

    2. Design and develop scripts in Python and other programming languages to streamline and improve RF testing processes for Meta products using industry-standard test equipment

    3. Partner with other designers and cross-functional engineering teams to plan, build, and deploy scalable automation frameworks tailored to specific project requirements

    4. Leverage machine learning to drive innovation and efficiency throughout the wireless product development lifecycle

    5. Partner with internal cross-functional teams and external JDM/CM to successfully bring wireless products to market

    6. Support domestic/international travel to achieve program milestones

    Minimum Qualifications:

    7. 6+ years in antenna design for consumer electronics or equivalent industry experience

    8. Coding skills for data analysis and test equipment automation (e.g., Python, Java, C++, MATLAB)

    9. Proficiency in EM simulation software such as CST and HFSS

    10. Hands-on experience with antenna tuning and measurement using VNA and anechoic chamber systems

    11. Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field

    12. Experience working with cellular chipsets for mobile or other consumer electric devices applications

    13. Experience with RF lab equipment for antenna and wireless characterization, and worked with the firmware team to support automated wireless testing

    14. Experience in antenna/wireless system architecture

    15. Experience with Cellular, GNSS, Wi-Fi/BT, and other wireless technologies

    Public Compensation:

    $139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
