    Responsible for scheduling appointments in accordance with the guidelines presented from Radiology, Neuro-Cardio Pulmonary Services, Ambulatory Services and Endoscopy, in a manner acceptable to physicians and patients. The scheduler insures compliance with government rules and regulations.

     

    Schedule and review Appointments in the Paragon and CPSI systems. Review and check procedure codes and diagnosis codes to make sure orders meet CMS rules compliance in SCI Order Facilitator or McKesson. Maintains and utilizes computerized schedules. Performs patient notification duties. Performs clerical duties.

     

    High school or GED, prefer college or technical training or equivalent of three-five years registration experience. Prefer three to five years registration experience. Proven supervisory skills.

     

    Knowledge of computer applications associated with hospital practices to include word processing and spreadsheets. Prefer medical terminology.
