Position Overview:

As a Content Marketing Manager at Galen College of Nursing, you will manage the development and execution of Galen’s omni-channel content marketing strategy to elevate brand awareness and attract and retain new students while positioning us as a category leader in nursing education. This role requires up to date experience in new technologies and marketing trends in SEO/AEO, brand discoverability, and positioning thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and manage Galen’s content marketing and social media strategies to increase LLM discoverability and authority, and drive organic search traffic

2. Collaborate with internal and external design and writing teams to produce high quality, omni-channel content for inbound marketing strategies including but not limited to articles, blogs, emails, whitepapers, videos

3. Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met to write, design, build and maintain our social media presence, managing two Social Media Specialists

4. Collaborate with internal and external teams to create website content, pages and optimize user experience

5. Regularly track, measure and report performance across all social media platforms and website

6. Plan, execute, and measure A/B and conversion tests

7. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience

8. Edit, proofread and improve content

9. Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement

10. Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

+ 7+ years of proven work experience as a content marketing manager

+ Demonstrated expertise in social media platforms

+ Proven experience creating and managing the development of multi-channel content marketing tactics

+ Proficiency in MS Office, WordPress or other Content Management Software

+ Understanding of web publishing requirements

+ Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences

+ Strong analytical skills

+ Project management proficiency with keen attention to detail

+ Excellent communication and writing skills

+ Highly organized and detail-oriented

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or relevant field

+ Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics

+ Highly engaged, team mindset

+ Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit at a desk and work at a computer for a standard 8 hour work day with standard lunch breaks.

+ Degree of Supervision: Minimal
