Shift/Pay: 5 Days (Monday-Friday)

2:00pm - 10:30pm @ $21.88 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team for the 2nd shift, working from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday. The primary responsibility will be operating a standard sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a standard sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks.

+ Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.

+ Ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes.

+ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience with sit-down forklift operation.

+ Previous warehouse experience.

+ Proficiency in loading and unloading tasks.

+ Experience operating RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Opportunity to join the union after 6 months of assignment.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean production facility located in an industrial park in Swedesboro, NJ, specializing in marinades, salad dressing, and BBQ sauces. The building is temperature-controlled but may be affected by weather conditions. Employees must be able to stand for long periods and work in an environment exposed to allergens such as milk, egg, mustard, peanuts, fish, sulfites, sesame, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
