Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will leverage your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems within the facility. You will also have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
+ Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
+ Move up to 49 lbs and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
+ Travel up to a minimum of 20% as necessary.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 1 year of experience in PC competency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2 years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
+ 2 years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 1 year of metal and wood fabrication.
+ 1 year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
+ 1 year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
+ Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
+ Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.

Work Environment
The role offers flexible scheduling with the following options: Day Shift from Sunday to Tuesday and a half-day on Wednesday from 7 AM to 7 PM, Night Shift from Sunday to Tuesday and a half-day on Wednesday from 7 PM to 7 AM, Day Shift from a half-day on Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday from 7 AM to 7 PM, or Night Shift from a half-day on Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday from 7 PM to 7 AM.

This is a Contract position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
