    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    Incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse and/or licensed medical practitioner in caring for the clinical patient and providing the best possible individualized nursing care in a timely manner with emphasis on cost containment. The position reports to the Director Rural Health Clinics.

    Job Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + One year experience in a outpatient medical office or physician clinic setting (if operationally able willing to train in lieu of experience) required

    + Medical terminology, ability to clearly communicate and understand English required

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required

    + BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Two years experience in a clinical setting preferred

    + Associates degree in a related field preferred

    + Working knowledge of state supported programs specific to rural health clinics and Medical Assistant certification preferred

    + Spanish speaking skills preferred

    Pay Range

    $24.00 - $25.80 /hour
