    Job Details

    The inpatient Physical Therapy Aide works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and physical therapist assistants to assist with patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist staff with patient care under therapist supervision

    + Set up of patient room prior to therapy session

    + Follow IC protocols to maintain therapy equipment

    + Maintain pars of therapy equipment on patient care units

    + Patient population includes cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patient.

    + Work with interdisciplinary therapy team

    + Assist with routine operations of the department

    Requirements:

    + HS Diploma/GED required

    + Experience in the health field preferred but not required

    + BLS certification through American Heart Association

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    + Ability to comply with all regulatory standards

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $23.62 - USD $33.06 /Hr.
