Position Summary
This position coordinates all processes and functions within the department, providing visibility to management through deep-dive analyses, performance tracking, and troubleshooting operational issues. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and utilizes data-driven insights to enhance supply chain operations and customer satisfaction.
Major Responsibilities:
Supply Chain
+ Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of transportation and supply chain data across all reporting platforms. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders, offering visibility into supply chain operations and performance trends
Analytics
+ Develop, maintain, and manage supply chain dashboards and reporting tools to track transportation performance metrics, including shipment tracking, delivery accuracy, and carrier efficiency. Conduct deep-dive analyses into transportation and operational data, identifying trends and performance gaps. Provide actionable insights to optimize transportation processes, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.
Customer Relations
+ Collaborate with customers to provide visibility into key supply chain reports and performance metrics. Maintain timely and clear communication to keep customers informed of key updates and operational performance.
Process Improvement
+ Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend enhancements to eliminate waste and optimize efficiency..

+ As assigned by the Manager
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year of inventory/auditing/transportation experience preferred
• Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics
• Ability to learn and operate various inventory and transportation management systems, in addition to extension applications.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures
• Data Analysis skills required
• Strong problem solving and time management skills required
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and multi task required
• Ability to follows process and standard procedures
• Experience analyzing large sets of data preferred
• Advanced computer skills including Excel and Outlook required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the hours necessary to accomplish the job duties, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
