    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. This is a critical role for a senior finance executive with strong operational expertise who can seamlessly connect financials to business strategy and firm operations. The CFO will provide financial leadership, operational insight, and data-driven guidance to support the continued growth and success of the firm.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead the firm’s overall financial strategy, planning, and execution.

    + Partner with senior leadership to align financial management with operational priorities, practice group performance, and firmwide goals.

    + Translate financial data into actionable insights for business units and projects.

    + Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.

    + Optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance data-driven decision-making.

    + Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular analysis to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

    + Manage relationships with banking, audit, tax, and external financial partners.

    + Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and operations team.

    Qualifications

    + 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally with exposure to law firms, professional services, or project-driven businesses.

    + Proven track record of connecting financial strategy to operational outcomes.

    + Strong operational expertise with the ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

    + Excellent analytical skills and deep experience working with financial data to guide business decisions.

    + Exceptional business sense with the ability to understand and support the firm’s strategic objectives.

    + Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    + Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.

     

    Compensation: $250,000 base salary + performance-based incentives
