Transportation & Safety Manager

Arc of Onondaga is currently looking for a Transportation & Safety Manager!

Arc of Onondaga is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transportation & Safety Manager to join our team!

This position plays a key role in supporting the Director of Facilities and Operations in the overall management of the agency's maintenance, custodial, transportation, and safety functions. Responsibilities include direct supervision of a small team, as well as providing direction, guidance, and oversight to staff outside of the formal reporting structure.

The Transportation & Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements, including:

Building and fire safety codes

OSHA standards

Safe Patient Handling protocols

Oversight of Arc of Onondaga's vehicle fleet

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field

3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in health and safety

1–3 years of supervisory experience preferred

Valid New York State driver's license with an acceptable driving record (per agency insurance)

Access to a reliable vehicle for agency-related travel
