As a Project Manager II, you are responsible for managing a project of moderate visibility and complexity. This role can be leveraged in a Control Account Manager capacity on a larger program with many deliverables or be inward facing or assigned to a more complex internal program. Under the general supervision of either a portfolio manager or a program manager, this position oversees multiple projects or one larger project. In addition to the duties of a project manager I, the project manager II is responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. The position may communicate with a senior project manager, functional area manager, or program manager regarding the status of specific projects. You will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables; identify needed resources for projects; and interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: proposal development, planning, scope, definition, design, execution, delivery, and project closeout. You will track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepare reports to stakeholders. As a Project Integrator II, you will support the business objectives at SNC. You will be responsible for assisting with the overall implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) on specified programs to ensure compliance with all government, contractual, and internal requirements. You will assist the program team with total Program Integration Management, develop standard formats and procedures, support EVM training to develop EVM skills, and provide EVM coaching to promote and enable program management ownership of program performance data. You will assist with data analytics, support variance analysis, and advise Control Account Managers, (CAM)s and program leadership on areas to improve program performance in a cross-functional, highly integrated environment. You will partner with scheduling and finance to ensure that all elements of Earned Value are integrated and consistent across the program to achieve performance objectives. You will support the Program Manager or Integrated Product Team leader (IPT) to supervise the work of program and project staff and be responsible for add-on work and proposal tasks from first customer interaction, defining requirements, basis of estimates, negotiation and contract award. You will participate in business resource planning/tracking in coordination with other corporate entities and responsible to formulate a team that can fulfill program/IPT requirements. You will be responsible for supporting the program/IPT risks, issues, and opportunities are identified, tracked, and resolved. You will also support the Change Control process and change implementation as well as program status meetings, interfacing on project/program status, developing proposals, researching/fact-finding, supporting audits, and negotiating with project/program stakeholders to ensure the program/IPT meet cost, budget, and schedule goals.

Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for all programmatic aspects of your assigned projects with specifically focused responsibility for customer relationship, cost, schedule and technical planning, tracking and reporting, technical execution, and ensuring overall program performance objectives are achieved.

+ Participate in business resource planning/tracking in coordination with other corporate entities and responsible to formulate a team that can fulfill program requirements.

+ Responsible for ensuring program issues and problems are identified, tracked, and resolved.

+ Responsible for program risk management and ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, tracked, and managed.

+ Responsible for interfacing on project/program status, developing proposals, researching/fact-finding, coordinating audits, and negotiating with project/program stakeholders to ensure enterprise initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.

Qualifications You Must Have:

+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

+ Typically 4+ years of progressive experience in project management roles and/or in related or technical fields

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

+ Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

+ Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules

+ Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

+ Active TS/SCI Secuirty Clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

+ Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management

+ Knowledge of aircraft computer systems, communication systems or other electronic warfare systems

+ Airborne Mission Systems experience

+ NC3 experience

+ Experience with risk management planning and documentation

+ Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution

+ Experience in resource planning and management during project execution

+ Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles

+ Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards

+ Familiarity with government contracting and regulations
