Student Worker - Ethics and Compliance
$14.00 per hour
The Role at a Glance
The Student Worker will support the Ethics and Compliance Team by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Responsibilities include data entry, records management, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and assisting with communication between the team and other departments. Additional duties may include drafting correspondence and emails, sorting and distributing mail, making copies, and digitizing documents. The Student Worker must demonstrate attention to detail. This role requires the use of independent judgment to ensure the accuracy of data entered and documents prepared.
The Student Worker will report to the Export Control Compliance Officer.
Qualifications of the Role:
+ High School Diploma or GED, and current enrollment in a degree granting program at an accredited college or university.
+ Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Essential Duties, Tasks, and Percentages:
Data Entry Support – 70%
+ Enters corrections and verifies the accuracy of the information received.
+ Complies with data integrity.
+ Organizes one’s work to meet various deadlines.
+ Researches missing or incomplete data.
Records Management Support – 30%
+ Fulfills internal record requests.
+ Complies with security policies.
+ Files records.
+ Flags items for review or secure disposition.
+ Organizes TEEX files to meet various deadlines.
+ Formats Word documents.
Other Duties:
+ May coordinate meetings.
+ May facilitate communication between Ethics and Compliance Team and other divisions.
+ Assist with special projects as needed or assigned.
