The Role
You will spend your time operating and monitoring equipment during a constant operation process. The process consists of operating system controls and equipment to produce and form the final product. This position requires an appropriate level of quality inspection to ensure the material is produced to internal specifications. You will be responsible for following specific guidelines to maintain specification parameters during the process for forming the product.
Pay Range: $25.29 - $34.21

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Mixer Responsibilities
80%
+ Operates Mixer and adjoining equipment to properly Start and Stop equipment .
+ Maintains, monitors, and understands all equipment in the designated area ess.
+ Continuously manages all areas of the forming product while adhering to specifications.
+ Operates equipment by use of a Human Machine Interface (HMI) System.
+ Performs start-up and shut-down procedures for all related equipment each week.
+ Performs Lock out Tag out (LOTO) and other safety procedures needed for the Mixer area.
+ Perform equipment and process checks frequently.
+ Adjust recipes and equipment to maintain internal process standards and specifications

+ Coordinates with others during all product changeovers.
+ Completes Quality Inspection on material during processing and inputs
+ Identifies and communicates quality concerns regarding sampling and process flow.
+ Unloading of Bulk Material from tanker trucks into Bulk Silo Tanks.
+ Inspection, Cleaning, and Replacement of equipment during downtime and AM activities.
+ Inputs daily production data and samples into the Production Reporting / Quality database
+ Performs and inputs Quality Assurance Test / Calibration Measurement reports into database.

Knife Responsibilities

+ Operates Knife area and adjoining equipment to properly Start and Stop equipment
+ Maintains, monitors, and understands all equipment in the designated area.
+ Continuous Quality checks of product.
+ Operates equipment by use of a Human Machine Interface (HMI) System.
+ Performs start-up and shut-down procedures for all equipment each week.
+ Performs Lock out Tag out (LOTO) and other safety procedures needed for the Knife area.
+ Completion of visual and documented equipment and Quality process checks frequently.
+ Adjust equipment setpoints to maintain internal process standards and specifications.
40%
+ Coordinates with others during product changeovers and consistent operation to relay product quality and concerns.
+ Completes Quality Inspection Tests on material during processing and inputs
+ Inspection, Cleaning, and Replacement of equipment during downtime and AM activities.
+ Performs Lock out Tag out (LOTO) and other safety procedures needed for the Knife area.
+ Inputs daily production data and samples into the Production Reporting / Quality database
+ Performs and inputs Quality Assurance Test / Calibration Measurement reports into database.
Other duties as assinged by supervisor/manager.
_What do you bring?_
Qualifications & Experience:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ Minimum of one year production/manufacturing experience required
+ Minimum of one year experience in manufacturing operating systems and quality testing required
Skills & Competencies:
_Required:_
+ Ability to work independently or in a team-based environment with little to no supervision
+ Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written
+ Basic computer skills
_Preferred:_
+ Familiarity with safety programs in a manufacturing facility
+ Familiar with any Lean Manufacturing practices
+ Familiar in Autonomous Maintenance practices (clean/inspect/lubricate)

**Shift Schedule** _(subject to change based on business needs)_
Monday - Wednesday/Thursday
12.5 hour rotating shifts (quarterly)
6:00AM - 6:30PM or 6:00PM to 6:30AM
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work established shift schedule, speak clearly so others understand, vision acuity to see details within a few feet of an observer, accepting of criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations, sensitivity to other’s needs, positive demeanor, and model change management for the business. Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment necessary to comply with government and company safety standards whenever engineered methods of reducing hazards or physical requirements cannot be reasonably accommodated. Job includes tasks that require walking, bending, twisting, gripping, stair and ladder climbing, entering confined spaces, navigating rough terrain and frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.-
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Our manufacturing plant is not temperature controlled; wet and dusty conditions are present at times. Position requires a mixture of indoor and outdoor working environment with varying temperature conditions depending on the weather.
