JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities for the Electrical Safety portfolio. This role involves collaborating with various departments to provide strategic insights and ensure the financial integrity of operations. The role will have responsibility over two critical manufacturing plants (Charleston and Clover, South Carolina)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Financial Analysis:
+ Conduct in-depth financial analysis related to manufacturing operations.
+ Analyze variances between actual performance and budgeted expectations, investigating discrepancies and providing insights.
+ Budgeting and Forecasting:
+ Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts.
+ Work with departmental managers to develop and refine budgets in line with operational goals.
+ Cost Monitoring:
+ Monitor and report on manufacturing costs, including direct labor, materials, and overheads.
+ Collaborate with operations management to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
+ Financial Reporting:
+ Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including key performance indicators and summaries of financial performance.
+ Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
+ Data Management:
+ Maintain accurate financial records and databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
+ Utilize SAP and other financial software for data analysis and reporting purposes.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, production, and engineering, to support overall business objectives.
+ Provide financial insights during product development and operational planning discussions.
+ Compliance and Controls:
+ Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
+ A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
+ 3+ years of experience in finance, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
+ Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
+ Advanced proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems. Strong Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with financial analysis tools and techniques.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication and presentation abilities.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

+ High ethical standards and integrity in financial reporting
