    Overview:

    St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students each year.     Job Responsibilities:

    The Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing ( GIDDN ) is committed to promoting health equity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities ( IDD ) through the vehicle of nursing. The GIDDN develops and deploys educational content to nursing students and residents, professionals, and leaders in healthcare, through a variety of synchronous and asynchronous learning activities, both directly and via distribution partners.

     

    The Golisano Institute is seeking a Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of its programs. The individual in this role will support and coordinate the implementation of the Golisano Fellowship in Developmental Disability Nursing, compliance with accreditation requirements as a continuing education provider, and provide administrative and financial support across institute projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Work with senior leadership to coordinate implementation of Institute projects, events, and activities, including with internal and external stakeholders.

    + Support the development and implementation of online/asynchronous and live/synchronous educational programs, ensuring alignment with the Institute’s mission and goals.

    + Support Institute compliance with all accreditation documentation requirements to award continuing education contact hours for the Institute’s professional education programs, including collection, organization, and storage of necessary records.

    + Coordinate program timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely completion, including facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders.

    + Utilize Asana to organize, track, and manage tasks and workflows for the Institute team.

    + Develop resources to support successful program implementation, such as agendas, online event platform resources, presenter materials, and educational information for learners.

    + Assist in maintenance of the learning management system and resources contained within.

    + Coordinate financial workflows including procurement, payroll funding changes, and expense submissions, as well as vendor and grant documentation, system reporting, and communication with the Executive Director and COO to ensure timely, accurate, and policy-compliant transactions.

    + Provide financial support in collaboration with the Controller’s Office in processing payments, reimbursements and other transactions; preparing invoices and reports; monitoring accounts and grants for compliance; assisting with reconciliations; maintaining documentation for audits and funder reporting; and tracking due dates for reports, draws, and renewals.

    + Assist in the development and documentation of program plans, workflows, and institute processes.

    + Support the collection and analysis of program data for reporting and quality improvement efforts.

    Education / Experience:

    + The position requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in program coordination, project management, or a related field, ideally within a nonprofit or educational setting.

    + Degree: A.S. degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or related field preferred.

    + The role is responsible for communicating with internal and external constituents at all levels and requires professional written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively

    + Excellent time management and organizational skills

    + Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement

    + Ability to change priorities over time as Institute’s needs evolve

    Technical:

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google workspace or Office 365, and other shared cloud/internet applications.

    + Familiarity with Asana or other project management software is a plus.

    + Experience with ERP (e.g. Banner, Oracle, Workday) a plus.

    + Ability to quickly learn new computer-based applications and tools.
