Advertising/Posting Title Research Clinical Coordinator

Posting Summary

Provide technical and administrative guidance and perform data management functions in support of University research projects in the Department of Emergency Medicine to include patient screening, enrollment, follow-up, teaching and mentoring, data extraction and analysis. Oversee the day-to-day study operations, enrollment, data collection, outreach and project initiation. Research Clinical Coordinators are study champions, working with Emergency Department providers and other stake holders to ensure the process is utilized.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one to three years’ of related experience required.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.

Desirable Qualifications

Clinical background including EMS certification ( EMT , AEMT or Paramedic).

Experience with RedCap, Microsoft Office (Excel), SPSS , STATA .

Anticipated Pay Range $23.00-$25.00 an hour

Non-standard work hours required:

The position is first shift four days per week and will work one second shift through 9pm with a shift differential; and at least one on-call weekend per month

Special Conditions Non-standard work hours required, Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Contingent on continued funding, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), 2nd Shift (Shift differential applies.)
