Job Title: Soldering Assembler

Job Description

As a Soldering Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling high-speed turbo motors, generators, and turbo machinery equipment, including performing sub-assembly and full system level testing. This role is crucial for the Aerospace Defense Industry, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with applicable drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble high precision coil windings, sensors, and electric motor components and sub-assemblies.

+ Perform soldering of fine wiring.

+ Encapsulate electrical assemblies.

+ Follow and interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions accurately.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electronic assembly and soldering.

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.

+ Manual dexterity and the ability to use fine precision tools, fixtures, and testing apparatus.

+ 3-5 years’ experience assembling electrical parts in a production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent.

+ Experience working on prototype, engineering, and production type hardware, using sketches and verbal instructions or notes.

Work Environment

Work in a medium-sized manufacturing environment with 120 employees, specifically within a mechanical assembly department of 20 people. The role involves both sitting and standing depending on the assembly line requirements. The environment may have glue smells and requires wearing steel-toed safety shoes. Work schedule is 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 6am to 2:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cypress, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
