Job Title: Stick Welder
Job Description
We are seeking to expand our Fort Worth branch by adding a dedicated Stick Welder to our team. This role involves traveling within the State of Texas to job sites where you will primarily perform stick welding. Additionally, we are looking for someone with a mechanical background to be trained as a Crane Technician. This involves inspecting cranes and performing preventative maintenance. The cranes are used in manufacturing and production environments, and you must be comfortable climbing up to them. Travel is typically required every week, leaving on Monday and returning on Thursday.
Responsibilities
+ Perform stick welding on cranes.
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists.
+ Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
+ Effectively interface with customers and the office to support equipment repairs as needed.
+ Evaluate and recommend necessary repairs for customers.
+ Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, and suggesting improved methods.
+ Service overhead crane systems through quality installations and inspections.
+ Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.
+ Build and maintain customer confidence by ensuring timely completion of jobs and keeping customers informed.
+ Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.
+ Fabricate and weld structures as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in stick welding.
+ D1.1 Certification.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read schematics.
+ Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical wiring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Background in electrical systems is preferred.
+ Comfortable working at heights.

Work Environment

The work environment is 50% indoor and 50% outdoor, with overnight stays limited to a few per month. Our team consists of a maximum of 10 Crane Technicians.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
