Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, primarily working on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift from 7am to 3pm until you are ready to transition. This role involves maintaining and repairing production line equipment and performing minor facility work to ensure minimal downtime during production hours.

Responsibilities

+ Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance tasks.

+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment promptly to minimize downtime.

+ Conduct emergency repairs on production line equipment, including conveyors, tanks, filling machines, and packing machines.

+ Complete minor facility maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and repairing door handles.

+ Engage in mechanic-type work, focusing on pumps, motors, and valves.

+ Perform electrical troubleshooting with PLCs, with a strong emphasis on mechanical aspects.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.

+ Ability to work with industrial equipment such as conveyors and motors.

+ Experience with PLC control and troubleshooting.

+ Familiarity with 3-phase electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Skills in welding, installation, service, blueprint reading, field service, fabrication, and schematic interpretation.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, state-of-the-art facility with a supportive and growing team. The 1st shift accommodates up to 100 people on the production floor, while the 2nd shift is smaller, requiring candidates to be more self-directed and capable of working with less supervision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
