    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a dynamic warehouse setting. This role involves operating various types of forklifts, primarily focusing on Crown Stand Up Reach and Stand Up Forklifts, to manage inventory and facilitate shipping and receiving processes.

    Responsibilities

    + **Operate Crown Stand Up Reach and Stand Up Forklifts effectively.**

    + Handle materials and manage inventory within a food manufacturing warehouse.

    + Load and unload trucks efficiently.

    + Conduct cycle counting and inventory management using RF scanners.

    + Work in a **fast-paced environment,** moving with production demands.

    + Spend significant time in a freezer environment, with breaks every hour.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating **stand up forklifts.**

    + Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.

    + Ability to handle materials and inventory efficiently.

    + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a **freezer environment is beneficial.**

    + Familiarity with RF scanners and cycle counting.

    + Adaptability to **fast-paced** work conditions.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a large facility with over 400 employees working across two shifts. It includes multiple loading docks where inventory is processed and prepared for freezing. Forklift operators will primarily work in the freezer area but will have a 10-minute break every hour to ensure comfort. The work hours are from **8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.**

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Park, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
