    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a client's team in Port Chester, New York. This Contract position focuses on managing inventory-related invoices in a high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payment processing. The role requires expertise in three-way matching, international vendor management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process inventory-related invoices, ensuring accurate three-way matches (POs, receipts, and invoices).

    + Review and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Procurement, Inventory Control, and Warehouse teams.

    + Manage domestic and international vendor accounts, including foreign currency transactions, freight, and customs duties.

    + Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end/year-end close processes (e.g., GRNI accruals).

    + Assist in AP workflow improvements and prepare documentation for audits.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience with a focus on inventory and three-way matching.

    + Experience with international vendor accounts and working in ERP systems.

    + Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

    + Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.

    + Knowledge of GAAP and standard AP practices.
