Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to support one of our dynamic clients in the entertainment industry by overseeing and managing the organization’s payroll functions with precision and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of People Operations and Payroll, this part-time (5-10 hours per week), fully remote position is ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees.

• Verify and input employee timesheets into ADP Workforce Now, maintaining data integrity.

• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including tax filings, deductions, and legal requirements.

• Process adjustments such as overtime, bonuses, and other compensable items accurately.

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to handle new hires, terminations, and salary updates.

• Generate and review payroll reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies.

• Stay informed of federal, state, and local payroll laws to ensure ongoing compliance.

• Manage year-end payroll activities, including issuing W-2 forms and completing tax filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes, preferably with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems.

• Strong understanding of federal and state payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Expertise in full-cycle payroll operations and familiarity with payroll software.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and address inquiries.

• Adept at problem-solving and identifying solutions in a fast-paced environment.
