Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in private equity accounting and fund reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing complex investment structures and financial data while ensuring compliance with GAAP and partnership agreements.

+ Prepare and maintain fund and management company financial statements

+ Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, and manage general ledger activity

+ Process capital calls, distributions, and partner allocations

+ Track and reconcile investments, commitments, and carried interest

+ Assist with quarterly and annual investor reporting packages

+ Coordinate with auditors, administrators, and external tax advisors

+ Support compliance with fund documents and accounting policies

+ Provide analysis on portfolio performance and financial metrics

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 3+ years of accounting experience within private equity, investment management, or financial services

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and partnership accounting

+ Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups)

+ Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Investran, or similar software

+ Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
