    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a leading enterprise organization to hire a Omnichannel Communications Manager to support key initiatives within a growing Communications Operations team. This role will focus on SMS channel expansion, technology migration, and the integration of AI-driven insights to enhance how the organization communicates with its customers across multiple touchpoints. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused, with a background in customer messaging, marketing operations, and digital enablement. This individual will play a critical role in helping evolve the customer communications ecosystem—ensuring messages are personalized, timely, and aligned across all channels.

     

    Duration: 6+ month contract w/ potential to convert to full-time hire

     

    Hours: 40 hours/week

     

    Pay Rate: $32-36/hour

    Responsibilities:

    Customer Messaging Strategy & Execution

     

    + Support the rollout and enhancement of SMS marketing campaigns, including backend enablement, opt-in strategy, and migration planning.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure messaging consistency across outbound (email, SMS, push) and inbound (app, web, IVR) channels.

    + Assist in designing and documenting messaging frameworks for:

    + Message tiering and sequencing

    + Urgency prioritization (instant vs. non-urgent)

    + Ideal channel selection

    + Timing and frequency capping

    + Suppression logic and customer preference management

    + Partner with marketing and analytics teams to ensure all messaging aligns with audience strategy, campaign goals, and brand guidelines.

     

    Technology Integration & Enablement

     

    + Partner with platform teams to support the migration of SMS and marketing campaigns to Adobe V8, ensuring accurate tagging, governance, and analytics tracking.

    + Coordinate efforts across tools and systems such as AEM, OneDrive, and Smartsheet to maintain consistent messaging, asset traceability, and process efficiency.

    + Contribute to the identification and implementation of a centralized Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution with integration into analytics and campaign platforms.

    + Support delivery management and cross-functional planning to ensure smooth technology transitions and effective campaign execution.

     

    GenAI/ML Communications Support

     

    + Assist in developing a strategic roadmap for GenAI and machine learning integration into communication workflows and performance analytics.

    + Translate complex data insights and model outputs into actionable recommendations that inform creative optimization and personalization strategies.

    + Support pilot programs, testing frameworks, and stakeholder education initiatives around GenAI/ML capabilities in marketing and communications.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 3-5+ years of experience in customer communications, marketing operations, or digital strategy.

    + Strong understanding of omnichannel communication strategies and customer journey orchestration.

    + Experience with SMS marketing platforms, Adobe Experience Manager, and customer data platforms (CDPs) preferred.

    + Excellent project management and cross-functional communication skills.

    + Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Familiarity with GenAI/ML tools and their application in marketing analytics or creative enablement.

    + Experience within telecom, media, or large-scale enterprise communications environments.

    + Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, data-driven storytelling, and customer experience.
