• Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

    Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions for a non-profit organization. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through innovative cloud technologies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, and networking.

    • Manage and configure Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, and Azure App Services to support various organizational needs.

    • Develop and maintain robust networking infrastructure, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Azure Firewalls, and Load Balancers.

    • Optimize database solutions using Azure SQL Database, Data Warehouse, and other Azure data services.

    • Ensure seamless application integration with Microsoft Intra ID and single sign-on processes.

    • Evaluate and implement Azure storage options, such as Blob Storage, Table Storage, Queue Storage, and Azure Files.

    • Apply Azure security best practices to protect organizational infrastructure and data.

    • Monitor and analyze system performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

    • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and source code management processes through Azure DevOps.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile Scrum methodologies to deliver cloud solutions effectively. Requirements • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including a strong understanding of its core services.

    • Proficiency in managing Azure Virtual Machines, networking components, and Azure SQL Database.

    • Deep knowledge of Azure networking concepts, such as Virtual Networks, Subnets, and Load Balancers.

    • Familiarity with Azure storage options, including Blob Storage and Table Storage.

    • Expertise in Azure DevOps for CI/CD and source code management.

    • Strong understanding of Azure security principles and best practices.

    • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
